What to Bring to On-site Camps

Please insure all things are labelled with your child's name. This is the minimum you will need:

  • Bedding (Sleeping bag and pillow)
  • Toiletries
  • Modest swimsuit, a towel
  • Appropriate outerwear for the weather (for hot/cold/rain)
  • Long pants for hikes in the woods
  • Running shoes
  • Water bottle
  • Bug spray
  • Hat and sunscreen
  • Bible
  • Pen and a notebook

Please do not bring:

Cell phone, radio, mp3, video games (any electronic devices) cigarettes, alcohol, non-prescription drugs (illicit substances), jewelry, chewing gum, expensive clothing, inappropriate clothing (too revealing or offensive logos).

NOTES:

  1. We do not allow cell phones on the property to ensure campers' privacy. Please don't bring digital cameras. Disposable ones are allowed but remember all campers will receive a free highlight DVD.
  2. All lost and found items not claimed by September may be taken to the local thrift store. Please label your clothing.
  3. Please be advised that phone privileges are not given to the campers. We have found that this increases homesickness incredibly! Parents will be contacted by a Missions Team member in the case of an emergency.
  4. Any medicine (including OTC and vitamins) brought to camp must have the child's name on it, be in its original container and given to the camp First-Aid attendant upon arrival.
